| This is a wooden model from the fifties. It was professionally built in one of the styling studios for an automobile manufacturer. The details on this particular model have been lost to obscurity. As best as we can tell, it looks like something designed for Kaiser or Hudson. It was brought to me for repairs and light restoration. About all I did was polish the paint on the body and repaint the "aluminium" top. One tail light was missing so I lifted a mold from the other and made up a new pair for a perfect fit and color match. There was also one aluminum trim piece missing from one side which I duplicated. It was kinda fun working on something so significant and yet so small. This model is about a foot long. It's a beautiful piece. bw |
